KSpotMap ("we", "us", "our") is a community platform for sharing Korean drama, K-pop, and movie filming locations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: when you create an account, we collect your email address and the username you choose. Your password is securely managed by Supabase Authentication and is never stored in plain text.
- Content you submit: location names, descriptions, categories, artist/idol tags, and any photos or videos you upload when submitting a spot.
2. How We Store Your Data
Your account details and submitted spot information are stored securely in our database, hosted on Supabase. Photos and videos you upload are hosted on Cloudinary, a media hosting service used solely to store and deliver your uploaded files.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your information to operate KSpotMap โ to show your profile and submissions, display your username alongside the spots you share, and allow our moderation team to review submitted content to keep the community safe.
4. No Selling of Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing or any other purpose. Your information is only shared with the service providers โ Supabase and Cloudinary โ that help us run KSpotMap.
5. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, including your uploaded photos and videos, please contact us at hello@kspotmap.com. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
